With Budongo forest in the south, Rift Valley escarpments, open amidst scattered trees in the northern part of the park, Murchison falls, Uganda’s largest park, protects a chunk of untamed African savannah bisected by the mighty River Nile. Within the park are mighty falls forming splendid roars as the water thrusts through the narrow gorge.
